Child/Teen Therapy—Invest in Their Mental & Emotional Wellness

Whether it is big feelings because your child/teen is a highly sensitive child (quiz here) or has tendencies to show up and be the bully, having a full toolbox of coping skills can make all the difference. Alexandra, LCSW uses a variety of strategies to match your teen/child’s specific needs.

Ps. Coping can be fun!

It’s all about filling up a Coping Toolbox to set your child up for emotional success!

Through therapy, your child will learn healthy, assertive & caring communication.

Frustration, sadness, confusion and anger often stem from feeling misunderstood, ignored or shut down. Anxiety often stems from a fear of what other people will think or do or say. Sometimes the fear gets so big that the child stops asking for help in class and grades slip. Other times, not knowing how to communicate kindly (remembering you love that person you are talking to) can lead to anger outbursts and broken relationships.

Alexandra, LCSW works with children/teens to equip them with HEALTHY communication. They practice it in sessions, take visual tools home, do gradual exposure strategies & all kinds of other creative techniques to strengthen communication & the confidence needed to speak up. When someone can communicate well, relationships heal, boundaries happen & empowerment shines. This is the good stuff!

This investment is about helping your child heal & grow.

Slammed doors, hurtful words, chaos of another move. Pain from abuse. Suicidal thoughts, again. Whispers in the classroom & lies spread on social media. Foster care. Distorted self-image. Failed grades. Divorce. Losing a best friend. Our kids & teens go through so many layers of challenges. They are often deeply impacted. The beautiful thing is that with therapeutic support, healing can and does happen. Alexandra, LCSW is ready to stand with your child/teen in the depths of their pain and help them see hope again.

Alexandra, LCSW has worked with kids & teens for over a decade in settings ranging from residential, school districts, inpatient psychiatric hospitals to outpatient and in-home therapy services.
